Healthy Eating

When looking at the obesity problem in America we see fast food which is rich in saturated fats and simple carbohydrates. This is used and the stored by the body as adipose tissue and builds over time. Lean protein, unsaturated fats in all forms, and complex carbohydrates are a better choice.

Eating multiple smaller meals a day may boost metabolism throughout the day as compared to three larger meals.

Lemon Chicken

"As someone who loves going to the gym and working on my overall health and fitness, low calorie, high protein meals play a large part in my diet. One of the very best low calorie, high protein options is chicken breast. Lemon chicken is one of my favorite chicken breast variations I love to cook. The process for this recipe takes just about 30 minutes, so not too long, and doesn’t require too many ingredients. This is an overall simple meal to make, and one I think you should incorporate into your diet."

"I decided to choose a quick snack I've made before and have been obsessed with ever since. I chose to share the frozen yogurt bark with berries because Tik-Tok made me try it; if you know, you know. It is a very quick and easy recipe that only requires about 4 ingredients unless you’d like to add more toppings. It's a very time efficient snack to prep that you can share with the whole family! Not only is it delicious but it is also very healthy, therefore it's a win-win situation!"

Tostada

"The reason why I like this recipe is because it is very simple and doesn't take a whole lot of ingredients unless you want to make it filling but it's also very cheap and can fill you up very fast if you put the right foods on the tostada. Many people can put anything on a tostada. I just like this one because this is how my mom usually makes it and it just reminds me of home and just simple and fast to make."

Tropical Green  Smoothie

"I love eating smoothies for breakfast! They are a great way get a lot of great nutrients from different fruits and vegetables all in one meal. I also love tropical fruits like pineapple and mango!
